Soot-Sponge-Test
These recent fire were so catastrophic that we here at SERVPRO of Pasadena North want to lend a helping hand in anyway we can. You may be wondering why we have a sponge that looks dirty in our pictures; well that's because it's not dirty and it's actually soot. Our soot-sponge-test, is way for us to be certain that there is soot in that specific room. For large homes like this, it is important that we test every room with our method to ensure that there is no soot. Leaving soot and smoke behind, can allow for the smell to continue traveling throughout the home and that’s something you don’t want. Once it’s aware that there is indeed soot in that specific area we clean it, then clean it again. The bathroom picture you see is post soot-sponge-test and cleaning. We clean every room to the best of our ability, but that’s not all. An environmental company is then called to test the affected area after they’ve been cleaned, so that we can be 100% positive that soot has been terminated from that area.
